Our History

St James congregation was established in the twelfth century in spain. They had played a vitalrole in the development of the weakest section of thesociety especially women and children. The over all development of an individual lies behind the education one gets in the childhood and adolescence. Our congregation started educational institutins inspain to impart holistic quality and value based education.

We came to india in the month of june 2003 and opened our first school in the country, at azikode in kannur Dt. under kannur diocese. It was names St. james english medium convent school. The patronage of kannur bishop and the diocese. The benevolent parents and valuable capital of this school. They blessed and supported us in all our ventures.

In the onest we had only LKG and UKG section with 25 students and two teachers. Now totally when we celebrate its 16th anniversary, it has grown like hugetree giving shade and shelter to 450 students approxmiately. Many students from different classes have gone out to other nearby schools. we feel pround and we are satisfied for they stood in top in thir classes. We accept the full support and encouragement of the parents in future too.
